The
Parents' Committee
|
|
We meet each
Friday in the Staffroom in St. Eithne's. The weekly raffle and
the savings' club take place that day. Our savings' club has proved
to be very successful. This enables parents to set aside some
money each week for school books, uniforms and school tours. Any
withdrawals are to be in written form by parents and given to
committee members on Friday morning only.

Fundraising
Last year we did the following to fundraise for
the schools: Christmas Coffee Morning, Easter Coffee Morning,
Weekly Raffle, Non Uniform Days, Copper Jars.
Last
year we spent the money fundraised on: flowers for Confirmation,
Communion etc., Sports Day refreshments and medals for both schools,
end of year disco, 6th class graduation gifts, €1,000 towards
new art room and supplies in St. Monica's, €1,000 for digital
cameras and listening stations in St. Eithne's
